Danny Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikifor Vekov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertel Alsvik during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Xi Liang in the 31st minute of play forced VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Bloom came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JET-M's Nikifor Vekov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save JET-M from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, VN FC Spartak-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Bloom came free, but Hans Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benjamin Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JET-M made a substitution. Zhivko Shpatov replaced Naycho Palyov. JET-M's Delyan Temelyotev was substituted for Bozhko Staevski. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match, Danny Valentin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikifor Vekov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 83 minutes into the game, JET-M's Ivan Haglund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Curtis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, JET-M's Zhivko Shpatov got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 93 played minutes JET-M got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Haglund. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Bloom in the 95th minute of play.
