In the 7th minute, Omurtag Púrvulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slavey Dochevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kosta Kúnov in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Kosta Kúnov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavey Dochevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavey Dochevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darin Gladichev's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omurtag Púrvulov got free with Delyan Súrnev in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Delyan Partinov fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue avalanche's protests and gave Delyan Partinov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blue avalanche getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Laziali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Rix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Blue avalanche's Delyan Partinov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delyan Súrnev. Delyan Súrnev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
