Taavetti Mattila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Helkamo in the 24th minute of play. Yan Chong Sen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mai Li Cheng in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Heino Helkamo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Taavetti Mattila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Ali Nieminen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jiang Zhen Sen kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nieminen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Ali Nieminen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Yan Chong Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Taavetti Mattila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Voitto Nyrhinen went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mai Li Cheng hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Palloketut were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Traian Iorda to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Rikhard Elomo hit a great ball. Traian Iorda took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Chong Sen. Yan Chong Sen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's goal looked a bit too open when Heino Helkamo came free, but Taavetti Mattila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans got a freekick which was hit by Traian Iorda. If Mai Li Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palloketut made a substitution. Marcus Hjelm replaced Doğuş Turabi. With a little luck, SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Taavetti Mattila got control of the ball when Rikhard Elomo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taavetti Mattila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Helkamo in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Heino Helkamo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Taavetti Mattila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mai Li Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Palloketut defense, Traian Iorda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Chong Sen. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Chong Sen should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute of the match SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans got a corner. Palloketut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oskari Etula ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Oskari Etula to fire away a dangerous shot which Yan Chong Sen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
