The supporters of Savon Palloseura booed when SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. A hard and well directed shot from Ciriaco Ferrando led 21 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Taavetti Mattila became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Savon Palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Li Cheng came free, but Felipe Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Li Cheng in the 23rd minute of play. Savon Palloseura's Felipe Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Iorda in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans were awarded a corner. Ali Nieminen went to the cornerflag to take it. Felipe Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Li Cheng in the 37th minute of the match. Savon Palloseura's Felipe Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Li Cheng in the 38th minute of play. Taavetti Mattila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Pakaslahti in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traian Iorda was the one to do the kick off. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Oskari Etula quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gabriel Suominen, made in the 55th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mai Li Cheng got free with Felipe Liher in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mai Li Cheng's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Felipe Liher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mai Li Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Felipe Liher made a huge save. A collision led to SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Oskari Etula hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Ciriaco Ferrando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taavetti Mattila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mai Li Cheng got free with Felipe Liher in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Li Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Li Cheng in the 66th minute of play. Mai Li Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Felipe Liher made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Savon Palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Iorda came free, but Felipe Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Mai Li Cheng got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavetti Mattila having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Gabriel Suominen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
