Andy Jackson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. Valdemar Kallio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Savon Palloseura were awarded a corner. Ciriaco Ferrando went to the cornerflag to take it. 23 minutes into the match, Savon Palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Terho Litja came free, but Lasse Saarelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Romero hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terho Litja in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Kallio in the 30th minute of play forced Kultapossukerho's goalkeeper Elbert Hand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Nuutti Vauhkonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbert Hand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uolevi Hagman got free with Lasse Saarelainen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elbert Hand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Pakaslahti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Ciriaco Ferrando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kultapossukerho's Elbert Hand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Pakaslahti in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Markus Pakaslahti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savon Palloseura and the Kultapossukerho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kultapossukerho made a substitution. Hernan Leizarraga replaced Terho Litja. The supporters of Kultapossukerho booed when Savon Palloseura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Pakaslahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Kultapossukerho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uolevi Hagman to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's goal looked a bit too open when Aatu Sivonen came free, but Elbert Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarvo Huttunen tried in the 57th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Elbert Hand a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Ariel Milio charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Milio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Ariel Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savon Palloseura's Ciriaco Ferrando shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elbert Hand but with some difficulty. Kultapossukerho's Niko Petriläinen was substituted for Nuutti Vauhkonen. Cris Romero made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ciriaco Ferrando immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Ugutz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lasse Saarelainen saved Savon Palloseura from getting behind. Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Ugutz in the 82nd minute of play. Tomas Gaxan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Elbert Hand made a huge save. Lasse Saarelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Kultapossukerho's Sixto Ugutz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lasse Saarelainen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Salomo Kiviharju fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kultapossukerho's protests and gave Salomo Kiviharju a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kultapossukerho's Salomo Kiviharju got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Cris Romero in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kultapossukerho's Andy Jackson. Sixto Ugutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lasse Saarelainen having to make a save. In the 97th minute Sixto Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kultapossukerho fully deserved thier win.
