Cássio Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Co Vid, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Janne Töpperwien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janne Töpperwien in the 9th minute of the match. The throw-in from Big Fart in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karhulan Veikot's Sylvesteri Turpeinen. After a defensive mix-up in Porvoon Futura's zone, Janne Töpperwien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Toldo came out of the goal and Janne Töpperwien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Co Vid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paavo Hirvonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 31st minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karhulan Veikot's zone, Co Vid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Ramos came out of the goal and Co Vid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janne Töpperwien might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francesco Toldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janne Töpperwien ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Porvoon Futura's Big Fart got a free kick in the 36th minute. Porvoon Futura's Iso Gulli was substituted for Co Vid. In the 39th match minute, Karhulan Veikot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvesteri Turpeinen to maneuver through the defense. When Iso Gulli came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Porvoon Futura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iso Gulli couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Porvoon Futura's King Cock got a free kick in the 41st minute. Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylvesteri Turpeinen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Iso Gulli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Ramos. Karhulan Veikot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iso Gulli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Janne Töpperwien scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Toldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's Paavo Hirvonen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iso Gulli in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iso Gulli got free with Cássio Ramos in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janne Töpperwien in the 81st minute of the match. If Janne Töpperwien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janne Töpperwien in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos got control of the ball when Iso Gulli tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Big Fart with Paavo Hirvonen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
