After taking down the ball on Karhulan Veikot's corner István Vida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paavali Paatelainen quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Galand FC booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvesteri Turpeinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teppo Kallioniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paavali Paatelainen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janne Töpperwien's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Janne Töpperwien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Paavali Paatelainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paavali Paatelainen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cássio Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Quintan in the 27th minute of the match. Paavali Paatelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janne Töpperwien, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Karhulan Veikot defense, Fabricio Quintan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Ramos. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Galand FC's Fabricio Quintan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Janne Töpperwien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paavali Paatelainen having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janne Töpperwien to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Janne Töpperwien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paavali Paatelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Janne Töpperwien came free, but Paavali Paatelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teppo Kallioniemi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Ramos saved Karhulan Veikot from getting behind. Galand FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eemeli Myllylä in the 59th minute. The corner ended in Eemeli Myllylä almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos did a great save. In the 63rd minute, Janne Töpperwien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paavali Paatelainen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Janne Töpperwien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paavali Paatelainen was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Crivoi came free, but Cássio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paavali Paatelainen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Quintan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Cássio Ramos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute, Janne Töpperwien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karhulan Veikot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Janne Töpperwien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karhulan Veikot's supporters rose to their feet, but Janne Töpperwien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paavali Paatelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paavali Paatelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janne Töpperwien, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Karhulan Veikot had won after a very even match.
