Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Mansilha in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Zielinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gottlieb Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Paul Heyckendorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Mansilha in the 17th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gary Lineker. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Heyckendorf saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Mansilha in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Simon Beuke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balus Treter the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Beuke to maneuver through the defense. Paul Heyckendorf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 42nd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Mansilha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Kurt Ahrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Ahrem in the 55th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
