Jean-Marc Debut came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Siim Kikas could save by the left post. In the 36th match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Mardare to maneuver through the defense. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 39th minute of play. De Gulden Draak's Siim Kikas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save De Gulden Draak from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Evert Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Heintz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match De Gulden Draak got a corner. TSV Delliehausen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anselm Neuhäuser ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the TSV Delliehausen defense, Manuel Peres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Heintz. The TSV Delliehausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Heintz should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Jean-Marc Debut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siim Kikas came out of the goal and Jean-Marc Debut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. De Gulden Draak walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
