Rafael Heintz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Mattes in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Gottlieb Hammer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balus Treter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Linus Mattes hit a great ball. TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. In the 29th match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Mattes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer in the 34th minute of play. The TSV Delliehausen fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when TSV Delliehausen's Elvis Töpfer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Rafael Heintz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gottlieb Hammer. TSV Delliehausen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Linus Mattes in the 44th minute. The corner led TSV Delliehausen's Linus Mattes to fire away a dangerous shot which Karsten Zielinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Marc Debut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottlieb Hammer to make the kick off. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Elvis Töpfer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Seidl came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TSV Delliehausen's Boris Seidl managed to work through Balus Treter's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Boris Seidl dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gottlieb Hammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Heintz having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Gottlieb Hammer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvis Töpfer got free with Karsten Zielinski in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neşat Beykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rafael Heintz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Debut in the 68th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Marc Debut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Hans Bergfelt with Leonard Mardare as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hans Bergfelt hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Gottlieb Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Heintz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvis Töpfer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Karsten Zielinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as TSV Delliehausen's Elvis Töpfer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karsten Zielinski. That made the score 2-2 after 94 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
