FC Hamburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Staines Massive the free kick. Theodor Adorno was a little too slow when François Rouvrais got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. François Rouvrais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Theodor Adorno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when François Rouvrais sped through West Staines Massive's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theodor Adorno. 33 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Roşculeţ came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. West Staines Massive's Theodor Adorno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save West Staines Massive from getting a goal against them. Pompiliu Roşculeţ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theodor Adorno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Theodor Adorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Roşculeţ in the 42nd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell François Rouvrais to make the kick off. West Staines Massive's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
