After 9 played minutes Mäusekicker got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Niggemann. In the 12th minute, Marcus Niggemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Pingel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Schirmer having to interfere. A hard shot 23 in the game by Adam Pingel from a close distance when the talented Kai Schirmer managed to make a qualified save. Mäusekicker's players were relieved. In the 28th minute of the match, Adam Pingel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kai Schirmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute, Adam Pingel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Blau Weiß Sauerland getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rodolfo Birk hit a great ball. Grzegorz Czerwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uwe Kuhni having to interfere. Uwe Kuhni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Czerwinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Uwe Kuhni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mäusekicker's Kai Schirmer got control of the ball when Uwe Nemitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Pingel made a kick off. In the 63rd match minute, Blau Weiß Sauerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Birk to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes, Grzegorz Czerwinski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Pingel in the 83rd minute of play. Kai Schirmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Pingel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adam Pingel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai Schirmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Pingel went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Adam Pingel sped through Mäusekicker's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kai Schirmer. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Blau Weiß Sauerland players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
