Dante Alighieri started the match with the kick off. Uwe-Jens Röttger struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Cosmo Abegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bernhard in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Friedrich Hölderlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Uwe-Jens Röttger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosmo Abegg was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Ulfa FSV's Cosmo Abegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Erkiner in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ulfa FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe-Jens Röttger came free, but Cosmo Abegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulfa FSV's Thomas Bernhard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Friedrich Hölderlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Heinz-Gerd Bonin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmo Abegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uwe-Jens Röttger's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Hölderlin in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uwe-Jens Röttger to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uwe-Jens Röttger got free with Cosmo Abegg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Cosmo Abegg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Theo Ljucovic getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 61st minute of the match, Uwe-Jens Röttger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosmo Abegg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cosmo Abegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 62nd minute of the match. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Alighieri in the 67th minute of play. Uwe-Jens Röttger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmo Abegg having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Uwe-Jens Röttger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosmo Abegg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz made a substitution. Marcus Willmann replaced Uwe-Jens Röttger. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Marcus Willmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Dante Alighieri put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Heinz-Gerd Bonin. 86 minutes into the match, Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper Cosmo Abegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Willmann. In the 92nd match minute, Ulfa FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Dylan to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ulfa FSV.
