With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ede Süßmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Peter Esterházy made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Westerland FC's Ede Süßmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Westerland FC's Ede Süßmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Alighieri in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Esterházy in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ede Süßmann saved Westerland FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Peter Esterházy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ede Süßmann was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Tim Metzner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Darmstadt got free with Cosmo Abegg in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Peter Esterházy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ede Süßmann. Westerland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Esterházy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ulfa FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans Thorke in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on Ulfa FSV's corner Hans Thorke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ede Süßmann quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Esterházy to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Esterházy could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Ede Süßmann however easily saved by the left post. Peter Esterházy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ede Süßmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Esterházys short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Ede Süßmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Westerland FC's Tim Metzner collided with an opponent after 58 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. After 58 minutes, Thomas Bernhard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulfa FSV and the Westerland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosmo Abegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Darmstadt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Peter Esterházy in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ede Süßmann had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Westerland FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hans Thorke was slow to take the kick. During this time Ulfa FSV's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hans Thorke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Westerland FC's Ede Süßmann did a great save. The Ulfa FSV fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Ulfa FSV's Dante Alighieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Esterházy could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Ede Süßmann however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Ede Süßmann managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ulfa FSV's Peter Esterházy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Esterházy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ede Süßmann made a huge save. Ulfa FSV were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Westerland FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Thorke took the corner. A collision led to Ulfa FSV getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Thomas Bernhard hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Westerland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Alighieri came free, but Ede Süßmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Westerland FC had been in control for most of the match, Ulfa FSV still came away with the win.
