Heinz-Gerd Bonin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Nemitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matti Erkiner struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Uwe Kuhni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz. Uwe Kuhni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matti Erkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Ljucovic got free with Uwe Kuhni in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28thth minute of the game Uwe-Jens Röttger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Uwe Kuhni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uwe-Jens Röttger. In the 32nd match minute, Blau Weiß Sauerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a corner. Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andras Gafus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Uwe-Jens Röttger succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goal looked a bit too open when Andras Gafus came free, but Uwe Kuhni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 46th minute of play forced Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Uwe Kuhni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Pingel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Erkiner in the 59th minute of play. Uwe Nemitz took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heinz-Gerd Bonin. Heinz-Gerd Bonin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goal looked a bit too open when Matti Erkiner came free, but Uwe Kuhni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Theo Ljucovic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz made a substitution. Marcus Willmann replaced Uwe-Jens Röttger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matti Erkiner in the 77th minute of play forced Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Uwe Kuhni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
