He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vorwärts Lübeck reached it. Bruno Untermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Casero was the one to do the kick off. Abubakar Noach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Schwede in the 50th minute of play. Dumitru Praporgescu's late challenge caught a Give Peace a Chance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Praporgescu helped the player get up and apologised. Dumitru Praporgescu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Vorwärts Lübeck made a substitution. Vorwärts Lübeck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvester Schwede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 87 played minutes Give Peace a Chance got a freekick which was hit by Lex Punke. If Lex Punke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abubakar Noach came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Give Peace a Chance's Lex Punke. But to his dismay, Lex Punke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Give Peace a Chance players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
