In the 2nd minute Mattias Hilger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Heringer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Untermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 巩翔傲 went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the game, Leon Bernard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PoznanGalaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Give Peace a Chance the free kick. In the 9th minute, Mattias Hilger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by 巩翔傲. Obbo Tippelt's late challenge caught a Give Peace a Chance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Obbo Tippelt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, PoznanGalaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obbo Tippelt to maneuver through the defense. Henning Heringer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hilger in the 15th minute of play. Bruno Untermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Grommers in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Bacalu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Grommers in the 27th minute of play forced Give Peace a Chance's goalkeeper Bruno Untermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Hilger in the 30th minute of play forced PoznanGalaxy's goalkeeper Henning Heringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oalo Kara kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Henning Heringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Hilger, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Mattias Hilger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godo Jaffke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Hilger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Heringer having to interfere. With a little luck, Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann got control of the ball when 巩翔傲 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 巩翔傲 made a kick off. Give Peace a Chance's Mattias Hilger got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, PoznanGalaxy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mattias Hilger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Give Peace a Chance made a substitution. Odilo Pusch replaced Godo Jaffke. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Focke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Untermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 巩翔傲 in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, PoznanGalaxy's Peter Grommers made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Untermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lu Sang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Henning Heringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PoznanGalaxy's Akif Vurgun was substituted for Adam Kremers. Henning Heringer made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mattias Hilger sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Untermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 巩翔傲 in the 90th minute of the match. PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Sang in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Silvester Schwede put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Henning Heringer. Give Peace a Chance's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
