Niclas Monschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Night Cats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Monschke was slow to take the kick. During this time SSV Ulm 1846's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SSV Ulm 1846's Wolfgang Goethe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 24th minute, Niclas Monschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After taking down the ball on SC Night Cats's corner Freddi Butenschön fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kryspin Cupial quite easily take care of the ball. SC Night Cats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulises Pagomari in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ulises Pagomari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kryspin Cupial quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Monschke in the 31st minute of play forced SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Sepp Meier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddi Butenschön in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Niclas Monschke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sepp Meier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xabat Acedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Kielberg came free, but Kryspin Cupial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabat Acedo in the 59th minute of play. Niclas Monschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sepp Meier made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Niclas Monschke took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sepp Meier to make any attempt to save it. SC Night Cats's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Niclas Monschke scored to the left of an out of position Sepp Meier, making the score, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sepp Meier. That made the score 0-6 after 71 minutes of play. SSV Ulm 1846's attentive Ignaz Been managed to snatch the ball when Victor Wilbois made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 77th minute of play forced SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Sepp Meier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sepp Meier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Monschke in the 80th minute. Sepp Meier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albrecht Bosbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
