In the 4th of the match, Hans Rosenthal tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lucrețiu Brătescu got in the way and made a wonderful save. SC Otten's Cícero Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Kun Liang in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Timo Geyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Geyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes SC Otten's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Székely who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Timo Geyer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cícero Proença quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute of the match Timo Geyer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Proença skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themis Papadimoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SC Otten's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Papadimoulis came free, but Cícero Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Róbert Štriker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Timo Geyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VfL Bad Nenndorf's zone, Pankracy Setara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Brătescu came out of the goal and Pankracy Setara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Timo Geyer managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Geyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lv Kun Liang got free with Cícero Proença in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Pankracy Setara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Otten could leave the field as winners, despite VfL Bad Nenndorf having more of the ball for most of the match.
