With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Papadimoulis in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Ziege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Themis Papadimoulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Lv Kun Liang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uwe Ziege read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Lv Kun Liang struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Uwe Ziege didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Bad Nenndorf. In the 66th minute, Róbert Štriker made a precise shot to the right of Uwe Ziege. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 69th minute of the match, Mesut Özil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucrețiu Brătescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Themis Papadimoulis sped through Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uwe Ziege. In the 79thth minute of the game Themis Papadimoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Themis Papadimoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uwe Ziege was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. If Themis Papadimoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Themis Papadimoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. At last the ball reached Themis Papadimoulis at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Rot-Weiss-Essen. 10-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rot-Weiss-Essen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
