Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) 4 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Basten came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Hector Todor took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for August Hoffmanns to make any attempt to save it. When Hector Todor came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the PoWer SC 2K5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Todor couldn't finish the play. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hector Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Todor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hoffmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Todor. The audience was convinced that Hector Todor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Hector Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Schweinsteiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Octavian Basten made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. August Hoffmanns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leroy Kluttig in the 37th minute. If Zvonimir Prestin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Basten's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Hugo Haupt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere. The PoWer SC 2K5 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rot-Weiss-Essen were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavian Basten was the one to do the kick off. When Hugo Haupt came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Rot-Weiss-Essen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Haupt couldn't finish the play. 51 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Kluttig came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zvonimir Prestin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rot-Weiss-Essen defense, Leroy Kluttig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of August Hoffmanns. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Hoffmanns should have stopped the shot. Mesut Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Kluttig, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute Hector Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Basten in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Todor in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Basten's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The PoWer SC 2K5 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rot-Weiss-Essen's performance. The match ended with a win for Rot-Weiss-Essen.
