Godfredo Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AFC Cherries's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Anton Rubáš scored to the left of an out of position Guto Jacinto, making the score, 1-0. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Molnár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Rubáš scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 14th minute of play forced Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AFC Cherries booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Rubáš didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Godfredo Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Přemek Ouředník. Pardubice Hurricanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Godfredo Barroso came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AFC Cherries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Barroso couldn't finish the play. After having played for 34 minutes, Fedor Machát managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pardubice Hurricanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedor Machát was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Nelu Oblemenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Přemek Ouředník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeki Engintalay hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto got control of the ball when Fedor Machát tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelu Oblemenco struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Přemek Ouředník didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Cherries. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

AFC Cherries's Markus Jordán was substituted for Václav Buš. The wind increased when Luciano Cuenca made the kick off in the second half. Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Pardubice Hurricanes from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Luciano Cuenca managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Cherries's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Cuenca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Přemek Ouředník breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Nelu Oblemenco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 60th match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Rywin to maneuver through the defense. Přemek Ouředník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Pabon in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Anton Rubáš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Guto Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník got control of the ball when Luděk Kareš tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 minutes Pardubice Hurricanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Pabon who took care of the corner kick. Pardubice Hurricanes made a substitution. Svatomír Krajíček replaced Jan Mejstřík. Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Rychtář was substituted for Jakub Molnár. If Luciano Cuenca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelu Oblemenco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Přemek Ouředník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Barroso got free with Přemek Ouředník in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goodness 周宁 in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Jacinto saved AFC Cherries from getting behind. In the 89th minute Jiří Rychtář shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Cherries made a substitution. Radek Rokos replaced Christian Backman. AFC Cherries's František Jakubec was substituted for Luciano Cuenca. 96 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goal looked a bit too open when Goodness 周宁 came free, but Guto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Cherries players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pardubice Hurricanes.
