Dezider Šindelka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Lino Policarpio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Chico Pirok could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Zheng Jian Yi however easily saved by the left post. FC Barcelona's Dezider Šindelka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Angelsø in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vic Angelsø in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dezider Šindelka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Corbea came free, but Dezider Šindelka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dezider Šindelka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Vedillo in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC Barcelona made a substitution. Andrej Karásek replaced Tibor Surovec. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Barcelona fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Chorchoj had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
