Keep Walking Project's Sebastian Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Rekowski in the 18th minute of play. Keep Walking Project were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lionel-Andrés Messi took the corner. Keep Walking Project's Lionel-Andrés Messi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomás Linares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute Galo van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lionel-Andrés Messi made a kick off. Thomás Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Maghiran in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Huștiu in the 61st minute of play forced Keep Walking Project's goalkeeper Sebastian Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares got control of the ball when Galo van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line.
