In the 13thth minute of the game Eric Păvăloae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcu Iosub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Emil Gabor made a huge save. After a rather tough play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Şimandan got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yanick Knecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Păvăloae to make the kick off. Eric Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yanick Knecht. That made the score 0-4 after 60 minutes of play. Daniel Şimandan made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcu Iosub however managed to control. Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Iosub in the 64th minute of the match. Eric Păvăloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Knecht having to interfere.
