Emilian Ferenț yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 20 minutes into the game, Mircea Cobâlcescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas in Pyjamas the free kick. 21 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Ferenț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Răduleț took the corner. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Ferenț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Răduleț took the corner. Ilie Răduleț made a great header on Ninjas in Pyjamas's corner, it was just that F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț managed to reach the ball for a save. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Codrin Zdrobău quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sever Vrabie, made in the 41st minute of the game. Eric Păvăloae was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Carlos Bezerra made a kick off. When the referee ended the match the Ninjas in Pyjamas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
