Yanick Knecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Brânzaș in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LIVIUS UNITED MLS's zone, Gigi Brânzaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Knecht came out of the goal and Gigi Brânzaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolomé Perpiñán to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernest Petru hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Victor Huștiu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Victor Huștiu got a free kick in the 65th minute. During the 67th minute of the match Victor Huștiu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Victor Huștiu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71stth minute of the game Bartolomé Perpiñán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Şimandan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomás Linares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 75 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Caloian. In the 76th minute, Daniel Şimandan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Iosub. Remus Vermeşan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Yanick Knecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Zgrăbunţa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Remus Vermeşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Vermeşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Leonid Afteni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
