FC!Empire!Costy squad ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN the free kick. Liviu Găvănescu, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Liviu Găvănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Popeneciu. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Cristian Minteuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Nicolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Găvănescu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Popeneciu. Lucian Popeneciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Edgar Nicolescu scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Minteuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 played minutes PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Cardoso. Amável Falcão didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico Schellander was the one to do the kick off.
