Florin Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Zotincă hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sergiu Oardă kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ernest Stamatiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Fanaticii's Marius Măgură got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Marius Măgură shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Suşu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Ganea in the 41st minute of play forced YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goalkeeper Florin Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Panait's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Suşu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Dragoş Pivniceru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YR☆ Rossoneri™ the free kick. In the 44th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Pivniceru to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Ganea to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Drogoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Suşu was a little too slow when Marius Ganea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. Florin Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Ganea in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Măgură got free with Florin Suşu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes, Olimpiu Petrean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YR☆ Rossoneri™ and the FC Fanaticii players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 81 minutes, Marius Ganea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fanaticii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Ganea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marius Măgură could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Florin Suşu made a huge save. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Drogoreanu in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Olimpiu Panait got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Fanaticii supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Fanaticii would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
