But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Ferenț couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Madaio in the 25th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC GURZUN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Andersson in the 27th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalie and right to Ettore Madaio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Cangeopol in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Vargas saved FC GURZUN from getting behind. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Madaio in the 34th minute of play. Sérgio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Ferenț in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes FC GURZUN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodoro Gotzon who took care of the corner kick. Mădălin Cangeopol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Vargas having to make a save. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nikolas Kafkalas hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikolas Kafkalas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Kafkalas in the 50th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moise Cigu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Madaio in the 61st minute of play. If Mădălin Cangeopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas got control of the ball when Codruț Ferenț tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mădălin Cangeopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Vargas stood somewhat misplaced when Adrian Mutu came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 77 minute. Panait Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Tincu in the 85th minute of play. Mădălin Cangeopol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Vargas having to interfere. In the 89th minute Alexandru Ghionea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC GURZUN's Mihnea Tincu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Sérgio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 95th minute of play. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
