FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Nikolas Kafkalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Marius Măgură managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fanaticii's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Măgură was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Madaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Nae Hurmuzache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Madaio in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Ettore Madaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Madaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Nikolas Kafkalas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the FC Fanaticii defense, Ettore Madaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel. The FC Fanaticii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Pavel should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Kafkalas came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ettore Madaio sped through FC Fanaticii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikolas Kafkalas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolas Kafkalas got free with Andrei Pavel in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel got control of the ball when Nae Hurmuzache tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Fanaticii's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Andersson was slow to take the kick. During this time FC GURZUN's players had a chance to rest. Alexandru Ghionea made a great header on FC GURZUN's corner, it was just that FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel managed to reach the ball for a save. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Madaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them. Mihnea Tincu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 90thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Fanaticii's keeper Andrei Pavel was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Andrei Pavel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd minute, Angel Patrido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5.
