In the 7th minute Luca Pancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Panait was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C CLUJ MEDICINA the free kick. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Olimpiu Panait hit a great ball. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Francisc Ciocoiu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Ciocoiu got free with Andrei Pavel in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Francisc Ciocoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With his leg Andrei Pavel managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dragoş Coporan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Fanaticii's Marius Măgură got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, Francisc Ciocoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrei Pavel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Viorel Gurzău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragoş Coporans short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Andrei Pavel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrei Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisc Ciocoiu in the 38th minute. Dragoş Coporan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Andrei Pavel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dragoş Coporan came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrei Pavel could save by the left post. When Olimpiu Panait was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Ciocoiu got free with Andrei Pavel in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragoş Coporan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dragoş Coporan. After 47 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Zotincă.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Măgură to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dragoş Coporan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Pavel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dragoş Coporan sped through FC Fanaticii's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Coporan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Ciocoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute, Francisc Ciocoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrei Pavel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Coporan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Andrei Pavel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisc Ciocoiu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Dragoş Coporan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Coporan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Fanaticii's goalie and right to Viorel Gurzău. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Fanaticii's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Coporan in the 73rd minute of play. When F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Măgură in the 76th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Ciocoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Luca Pancu made a great header on F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's corner, it was just that FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Coporan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Pavel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luca Pancu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Pancu couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Francisc Ciocoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dragoş Coporan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sorin Cupșa came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Cupșa couldn't finish the play. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Coporan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
