Galati Harbour Cats's Dan Petrescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aron Iurașcu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Iurașcu got control of the ball when Shi Li tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Ciorăscu in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Soare saved Galati Harbour Cats from getting behind. Shi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Iurașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 14th minute of play. Ferdinand Vasiliu made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Antoni Dembkowski. Aron Iurașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Man in the 18th minute of play. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Aron Ciorăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Soare. Galati Harbour Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Ciorăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aron Iurașcu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man. But to his dismay, Ianis Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Cunea in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Filip Panțuru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Filip Panțuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's attentive Antoni Dembkowski managed to snatch the ball when Ferdinand Vasiliu made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Aron Iurașcu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shi Li showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Li to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Vasiliu made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Sven-Åke Ré. Onurhan Çinuçin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aron Iurașcu. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aron Iurașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Aron Iurașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 56th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Li took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Iurașcu. Aron Iurașcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Iurașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 63rd minute of play. Aron Iurașcu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li. But to his dismay, Shi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Galati Harbour Cats's Mo Yuan Fan was substituted for Onurhan Çinuçin. Steaua Bucuresti -MM- made a substitution. Ionuț Drumeș replaced Gheorghe Cunea. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Traian Constantinescu was substituted for Aurel Pandrea. After 78 minutes Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Petrescu who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Steaua Bucuresti -MM- booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Li didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shi Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Iurașcu having to interfere. Ionuț Drumeș might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Soare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionuț Drumeș ran back to his position shaking his head. Shi Li blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Iurașcu having to make a save. The Galati Harbour Cats fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Galati Harbour Cats were the better team. Galati Harbour Cats's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
