Nae Pavel was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Cătălin Agulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cătălin Agulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Adrian Isbășoiu made a precise shot to the right of Nae Pavel. U Craiova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Nae Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cătălin Agulescu in the 26th minute. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Crețulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 53rd match minute, U Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Udegbunam Ike to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Axelsson came free, but Nae Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U Craiova's Nae Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 60th minute of play. FC MCM made a substitution. Radomil Redisz replaced Cătălin Agulescu. 67 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Radomil Redisz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nae Pavel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. U Craiova's Nae Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Cârnu in the 72nd minute of play. After 76 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Vali Cârnu. Romeo Crețulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, U Craiova's Xu Guang Jun got a free kick in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Crețulescu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, U Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Crețulescu to maneuver through the defense. The FC MCM fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC MCM's Vali Cârnu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
