FC Brink's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 12th minute of play. FC Brink were furious when Jair Bostan was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in FC MCM's zone, Răzvan Mumuleanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Prunaru came out of the goal and Răzvan Mumuleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Brink's attentive Iulian Udrescu managed to snatch the ball when Dacian Mustăcilă made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of FC MCM booed when FC Brink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Mumuleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Viktor Axelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Călin Macrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Jerry Priest got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes of play, FC MCM's Adrian Isbășoiu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Brink's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cătălin Agulescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Mumuleanu in the 66th minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, FC Brink's Răzvan Mumuleanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Prunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. FC MCM made a substitution. Vali Cârnu replaced Viktor Axelsson. FC MCM made a substitution. FC Brink's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Cârnu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match FC MCM got a corner. FC Brink's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristi Maniu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dacian Mustăcilă managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jerry Priest hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, FC MCM's Adrian Isbășoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. 93 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Cârnu came free, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MCM played a much better game than FC Brink and deserved their victory. The FC Brink players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
