An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 34th minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Iacobescu got free with Pompiliu Zmărăndescu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viorel Iacobescus short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilian Şoimaru got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sever Crăiniceanu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jerry Priest hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes FC Brink got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Mumuleanu. Aurel Teodoroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Odobescu to maneuver through the defense. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Cristi Ciprian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Ciprian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristi Ciprian in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saved FC Brink from getting behind. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Ciprian came free, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Ciprian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Odobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
