In the 28th minute, Karl-Michael Lindqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ivan Strugure came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Sylwester Fink. But to his dismay, Sylwester Fink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Gaspar Ishmael might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Strugure. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Ishmael ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Strugure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Lindqvist in the 35th minute of the match. Ivan Strugure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Fink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcu Lelescu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Lelescu couldn't finish the play. After the first half FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Șerban Ciociu to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Iordache Bugariu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Bugariu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Strugure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Simionaş to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Strugure came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Iordache Bugariu. But to his dismay, Iordache Bugariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Gaspar Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Strugure having to interfere. With a little luck, Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Mircea Boerescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Ivan Strugure was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basarab Pătru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-16 in the 77th playminute. Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Boerescu in the 83rd minute of play. Ivan Strugure didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Pătru went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-18 was the resulting score. Ivan Strugure was a little too slow when Iustin Pelin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-19. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-20 when Mircea Boerescu sped through Vama Veche ™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Strugure. When the final whistle sounded FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vama Veche ™.
