When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Corneliu Lupescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Napoleon Klewinski to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Ishmael in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Pierz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Lindqvist came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Ishmael in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were awarded a corner. Mircea Cigu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 39th minute Karl-Michael Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Spineanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Napoleon Klewinski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 42 minutes FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bacary Roudier who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bacary Roudier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Napoleon Klewinski did a great save. RED BLUE STAR made a substitution. Dumitru Chiriacescu replaced Corneliu Lupescu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Spineanu made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Karol Pierz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
