Despite this Iurie Cocoș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Golescu to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Dragan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Iurie Cocoș made a huge save. Radomir Zieba hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Costel Ţintă kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Kunter Irmak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iurie Cocoș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 24th minute Costel Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos-Evangelista Didarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Zieba in the 32nd minute of play. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Tinu who took care of the corner kick. Scorpions -MM-'s Dan Tinu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos-Evangelista Didarov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Costel Ţintă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos-Evangelista Didarov was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cristian Aluncai kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Dragan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Petre in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Ferdinand Chirculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the DINAMO PLOIESTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandu Geantă hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Claudiu Dragan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Iurie Cocoș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Ţintă in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos-Evangelista Didarov saved DINAMO PLOIESTI from getting behind. In the 87thth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Bălanescu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Cocoș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87thth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Marcos-Evangelista Didarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomir Zieba. Iurie Cocoș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Dragan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Modrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. DINAMO PLOIESTI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
