Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Narcis Caba kicked off to start the match. If Narcis Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9 played minutes Adevarul Pur got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Nichitelea. 10 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Czempa came free, but Costin Stănculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Gică Tapalagă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Tudor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor got control of the ball when Gică Tapalagă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adevarul Pur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihăiţă Costa in the 30th minute. If Narcis Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Stănculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Czempa in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Adevarul Pur getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Grigore Nichitelea hit a great ball. When Florin Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Progresul Pitesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Logofătu couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Vasile Blănaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Şuteu in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Blănaru to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's Narcis Caba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Tudor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Progresul Pitesti booed when Adevarul Pur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Călimanescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vasile Blănaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Adevarul Pur from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Gică Tapalagă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costin Stănculescu made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Chorache Tofiño sent off a good shot on target. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Grigore Nichitelea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adevarul Pur and the Progresul Pitesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Adevarul Pur getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Grigore Nichitelea hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Blănaru got free with Costin Stănculescu in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Progresul Pitesti's Vasile Blănaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 93 minutes into the game, Adevarul Pur's Gică Tapalagă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Tudor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Adevarul Pur had won after a very even match.
