The supporters of Progresul Pitesti booed when Romos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigmund Tutorskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Progresul Pitesti from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Luisão Romero collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Romos FC's Mihai Dumitrache was substituted for Luisão Romero. In the 19th minute, Boyde Palmington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Tudor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Dumitrache's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Dumitrache in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Romos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wu Cheng De hit a great ball. Florin Logofătu went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Chorache Tofiño managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Karol Czempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romos FC's Ovidiu Cosâmbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Blănaru in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihai Dumitrache in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Tudor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 played minutes Romos FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Slavici. When Wu Cheng De came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Romos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wu Cheng De couldn't finish the play.

Martin Tudor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Cheng De went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Alejandro Cristian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Tecău came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigmund Tutorskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Vasile Blănaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Progresul Pitesti's Karol Czempa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romos FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Progresul Pitesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel-Alejandro Cristian took the corner. 83 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Cheng De came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Cheng De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Dumitrache in the 88th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wu Cheng De blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Tudor having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihai Dumitrache in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Tudor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Romos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Progresul Pitesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
