An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 9th minute of play forced YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's goalkeeper Silviu Popan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Zbora came free, but Silviu Popan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Buffalo Timişoara were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Hagi made a kick off. Adrian Zbora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silviu Popan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Silviu Popan had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Adrian Zbora from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Buffalo Timişoara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
