Nistor Maghiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in POLI TIMISOARA's zone, Felix Ferenț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Domuță came out of the goal and Felix Ferenț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Mihai Domuță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute, Niculae Şantău ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Domuță was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute.
