Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jarbas Prestes made the kick off which started today's match. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Geofredo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after POLI TIMISOARA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ediberto de Queirós took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ediberto de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mihai Domuță quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Mei might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Domuță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Mei ran back to his position shaking his head. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 14th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Carlos Mei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Mei in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Domuță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute of the game Dumitru Perișoară made a throw-in which Cosmin Harbuz played forward. In the 20th minute Mei Yi Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Yi Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Domuță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POLI TIMISOARA's goalie prevented a goal. Nicu Nichitelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lyle Coppack made a huge save. POLI TIMISOARA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filip Buculeasa in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Filip Buculeasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lyle Coppack quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mihai Domuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Mei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Luiz Fábio Guimarães replaced Mihăiţă Stolniceanu. Dumitru Perișoară got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cosmin Harbuz. Carlos Mei took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihai Domuță. Mihai Domuță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to POLI TIMISOARA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jarbas Prestes hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes POLI TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Perișoară. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Mei to strike the kick off in the second half. Mihai Domuță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Mei went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Carlos Mei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Mei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Domuță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Mei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mihai Domuță firmly grabbed it by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Carlos Mei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihai Domuță. POLI TIMISOARA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Mei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 61st minute, Carlos Mei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lars Flinck was substituted for Ediberto de Queirós. 68 minutes in the game Cosmin Harbuz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nicu Nichitelea. After a rather tough play, POLI TIMISOARA's Dumitru Perișoară got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mei in the 72nd minute of play forced POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Carlos Mei notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță. Mihai Domuță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Fábio Guimarães scored 0-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Domuță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Carlos Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Domuță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Mei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 91st playminute. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei pulled a muscle in his leg after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 95 minutes into the game, Manole Pătrașcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POLI TIMISOARA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely the free kick. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Adrián-Daniel Dobre replaced Carlos Mei. In a very dangerous position, a player in POLI TIMISOARA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
