The POLI TIMISOARA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Domuță should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute of the match Muget got a corner. POLI TIMISOARA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nae Strungă ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 11th minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes POLI TIMISOARA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nae Strungă who took care of the corner kick. Muget's Nae Strungă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihai Domuță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of POLI TIMISOARA booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Doloman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Isaia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Domuță having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaia in the 22nd minute of play forced POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Domuță made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Florin Stancu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Muget's Isac Gligor got control of the ball when Mei Yi Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Buzilă kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mihai Domuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Stancu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mihai Domuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Adrian Mihăescu put in a rough tackle. In the 87th match minute, POLI TIMISOARA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Mihăescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Nae Strungă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihai Domuță skillfully saved the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Florin Stancu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihai Domuță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Stancu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Florin Stancu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mihai Domuță. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Nilsson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Domuță saved POLI TIMISOARA from getting behind. Muget's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
