Carlos Mei started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Benny Škriniar. Valentin Voicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Coppack having to interfere. In the 8th minute Mihăiţă Stolniceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adrian Zbora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Zbora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyle Coppack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hunor Csapó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Mei went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by João Francisco Britto in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Jerrald Caldera. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Voicu in the 29th minute of play. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Mei, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hunor Csapó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mei in the 37th minute. A hard shot 45 in the game by Luiz Fábio Guimarães from a close distance when the talented Hunor Csapó managed to make a qualified save. Buffalo Timişoara's players were relieved. Luiz Fábio Guimarães ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mei came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
