The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Muget's Isac Gligor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zbora in the 10th minute of play. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Isaia in the 11th minute of play. Isac Gligor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Voicu in the 12th minute of play. Ignacy Cerocki hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alex Isaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Neicu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Stancu got free with Hunor Csapó in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Stancu had several of the Buffalo Timişoara's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Hunor Csapó as he didn't even see the shot coming. 32 minutes into the game, Adrian Zbora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buffalo Timişoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. After 32 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Zbora. In the 33rd minute, Florin Stancu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hunor Csapó. The goal made the score 2-0. Alex Isaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adrian Zbora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Gligor was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaia in the 40th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Albert Doloman could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Hunor Csapó however easily saved by the left post. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Stancu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Victor Neicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Muget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennvar Lohman to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Isaia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes in the game Victor Neicu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boris Becker. When Boris Becker came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Becker couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Florin Stancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vali Voicescu hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isac Gligor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Strungă came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Stancu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Strungă in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Florin Stancu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hunor Csapó was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Zbora to maneuver through the defense. Buffalo Timişoara's Silvestre Jesco was substituted for Cornel Timofte. In the 78th minute, Adrian Zbora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Strungă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hunor Csapó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Stancu went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Muget's Florin Stancu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muget's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Valentin Voicu scored to the left of an out of position Isac Gligor, making the score, 3-1. Muget's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
