Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dan Godeanu got the match started through his kick off. Sebastian Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Lăcătuș was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Dobri Karapetrov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dobri Karapetrov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Ţugui. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Republica Ploiești from getting a goal against them. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 16th minute of play. Costel Lepuș kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, VIP's Dobri Karapetrov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Manuel Lăcătuș was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Dobri Karapetrov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dobri Karapetrov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Ştefan Coșereanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobri Karapetrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Ţugui went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Costeiantu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobri Karapetrov was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Republica Ploiești was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Trifan to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by VIP's Dobri Karapetrov. But to his dismay, Dobri Karapetrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 56 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's Dan Godeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Berca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Dumitru Podgoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobri Karapetrov took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 67 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Godeanu came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Ştefan Coșereanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Coșereanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Dan Godeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Berca having to interfere. Manuel Lăcătuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dobri Karapetrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Dumitru Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lăcătuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 81st minute of play. Dobri Karapetrov took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After 85 minutes of play, VIP's Dumitru Podgoreanu made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lăcătuș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Firea kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ţugui in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Dobri Karapetrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Coșereanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, VIP's Dobri Karapetrov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Lăcătuș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0.
