Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Pintea in the 5th minute of play. Svante Vase might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Lăcătuș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svante Vase ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Andrei Pintea sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svante Vase in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lăcătuș saved Republica Ploiești from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Cezar Costeiantu put in a rough tackle. In the 13th minute, Cezar Costeiantu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Criss Kent came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Criss Kent couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svante Vase in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Lăcătuș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Vase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Costel Lepuș fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Republica Ploiești's protests and gave Costel Lepuș a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Costel Lepuș hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Criss Kent shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Lăcătuș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Andrei Pintea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Lăcătuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th match minute, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Boștină to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Svante Vase kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lăcătuș should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Dan Gârleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lăcătuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Andrei Pintea made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Lăcătuș was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute of the match Ovidiu Dobrica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Lăcătuș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Godeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Svante Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52ndth minute of the game Svante Vase who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s goal looked a bit too open when Dan Godeanu came free, but Dinu Dabija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Republica Ploiești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Pintea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 86 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svante Vase. Svante Vase received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out and tried to block the shot, but Svante Vase slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Dan Gârleanu made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Republica Ploiești's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12.
