Francesco Toldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Pedro Montana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Diego Marthaler made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabian Brask immediately put the ball in play. Ramiro Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. FC MeHigh's Jailson Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian de Lima in the 24th minute of play. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Zé Pedro Montana sent off a good shot on target. Saruhan Akyazıcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. After having played for 39 minutes, Zé Pedro Montana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MeHigh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Montana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC MeHigh were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Peretu City 09's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saruhan Akyazıcı took the corner. With a little luck, FC MeHigh's Jailson Abraão got control of the ball when Ramiro Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fabian Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
